First 2016 DAC School Forensic Audio/Video Training Announced

The first 2016 DAC School Forensic Video/Audio Training will be held on 25-29 April 2016 at the Courtyard Boston Danvers, 275 Independence Way, Danvers, MA 01923. Based on the latest VideoFOCUS Pro and CARDINAL MiniLab software, this intensive training teaches how to clarify evidentiary video and audio recordings in a unified way. Techniques for importing and analyzing the material, viewing the video frame by frame, clarifying the video and images, reducing noises and effects in the audio track(s), maximizing voice intelligibility, and exporting the finished product, are taught through a combination of lecture, careful observation and analysis, critical listening, and hands-on practical exercises with state-of-the-art tools and real-world training materials. On the final day of the class, a practical test is given to each student with a certificate provided.

Participation is limited to 12 students, and attendance is generally restricted to law-enforcement and governmental personnel; at the sole discretion of Salient Sciences, certain private-sector professionals who are actively working in the forensic audio/video field may also be invited to attend.

Tuition price is USD$900.00 for the full 5-day video/audio training, or USD$600.00 for those who only wish to attend the 3-day video portion; tuition price does NOT include transportation, lodging, or meals costs.
