Join us at MATIA Spring 2014

On 1-2 April 2014, Salient Sciences will be exhibiting at the NATIA Mid-Atlantic Chapter Spring Technology Exhibition in Atlantic City, NJ. Coming Soon - VFPro 4.5

VideoFOCUS Pro Version 4.5 is currently in development with expected release in Summer 2014. VFPro 4.5 will provide the initial, basic level of audio integration, to include such things as L-R mix and channel selection, volume adjustment / AGC, bargraphs for precise level indication, and manual video/audio sync adjustment. Additionally, the Super Resolution filter user interface will be reworked to be more consistent with the other filters and allow better tradeoff of enhancement vs. noise reduction.

Spring Training - DAC School Now Offering Both Video and Audio

Salient Sciences is pleased to announce its first DAC School event offering both audio and video training, which will be held the week of 5 May at the Courtyard Myrtle Beach Broadway, 1351 21st Avenue North, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The training schedule will be as follows:

5-6 May (Mon-Tue): Two-Day VideoFOCUS Forensic Video Training

7-9 May (Wed-Fri): Three-Day CARDINAL MiniLab Forensic Audio Training

The video training, provided by Dorothy Stout of Resolution Video, will be $600 per student (maximum of 10 students), and will be based on VideoFOCUS.

The audio training, provided by Donald Tunstall of Salient Sciences, will be $900 per student (maximum of 12 students), and will be based on CARDINAL MiniLab.

To attend both trainings, the cost will be $1200 per student, a 20% savings.

VideoFOCUS Pro Version 4.1 Release

VideoFOCUS Pro Version 4.1 has completed beta testing and is now in general release. VFPro 4.1 incorporates a number of improvements, including drag-and-drop import of videos and image sequences and greatly expanded file format support through FFMPEG. All VFPro users who were current on maintenance as of 1 July 2013, or who purchased the software thereafter, will be entitled to this update. When prompted, provide Username=videofocususer, Password=VFProducts. Upon installation, a valid ID issued by Salient Sciences must already be present or be provided for the software to operate.
